May 06, 2009 // Franchising.com // Fredericksburg, Va. -- The new 85-room Country Inn & Suites By Carlson® Fredericksburg, Va. today announced it is open for business at 656 Warrenton Road.

The hotel is owned by Sun Group Management, LLC.

The 100 percent non-smoking hotel features an indoor pool, whirlpool and fitness center with free weights, treadmill, elliptical machine and freedom trainer. Other amenities include a complimentary hot breakfast and meeting room that can accommodate up to 48 people. The hotel offers a variety of guest room styles including standard rooms, studio suites, one-bedroom suites and Jacuzzi rooms. All rooms feature complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, hair dryer, 32-inch LCD television, microwave and refrigerator.

Conveniently located off Exit 133 on I-95, the hotel is only 37 miles from Manassas Municipal Airport and 65 miles from Richmond International Airport. Several attractions are also close to the hotel including golf, Civil War battlefields, a winery, shopping malls, and museums.
