Noodles & Company Continues To Grow In Minnesota With Grand Opening In Bloomington

Globally Inspired Noodle Restaurant Hosts Fundraiser For The Make-A-Wish Foundation

May 13, 2009 // Franchising.com // Bloomington, Minn. - Noodles & Company, the quick-casual, globally inspired noodle restaurant, which serves a balanced menu of freshly sautéed Asian, Mediterranean and American cuisine, will open its first restaurant in Bloomington, and 22nd location in Minnesota, on Wednesday, May 20 at 11 a.m. The new restaurant will be located in the Mall of America, on the third floor, South side, at 60 East Broadway.

"We're excited about our growth as a company nationwide and in Minnesota," said Kevin Reddy, CEO and chairman of Noodles & Company.

As part of its grand opening celebration, Noodles & Company will host a pre-opening fundraiser on Tuesday, May 19 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota is dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., one hundred percent of sales made at the new Noodles & Company restaurant in the Mall of America will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota. Funds raised will be used to support the granting of wishes to children with life-threatening medial conditions in the state of Minnesota.

"It's a priority for us to give back to our local communities, and we are pleased to be able to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota through our grand opening activities," said Reddy.

Noodles & Company is a tip-free zone and is open Monday through Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Convenient carry-out, phone-in or fax-in orders also are available.
