Noodles & Company Brings Aboard New Marketing Chief
New Hire Brings Proven Advertising and Restaurant Brand Pedigree
May 21, 2009 // Franchising.com // Broomfield, Colo. – Noodles & Company, the quick-casual, globally inspired noodle restaurant that serves a balanced menu of freshly sautéed Asian, Mediterranean and American cuisine, has hired Dan Fogarty as the company's new vice president of marketing. Fogarty's first day at Noodles & Company will be Tuesday, May 26. His responsibilities will include overseeing all marketing, advertising, public relations and brand development.

Most recently, Fogarty hails from The Pump Energy Food in New York City where he spent the last two years re-concepting the 10-year-old healthy food chain and recently introduced its new flagship restaurant in downtown Manhattan. Before that he headed marketing for Potbelly Sandwich Works and Chipotle Mexican Grill, where he was responsible for developing the Chipotle brand over 10 years as it grew from a handful of restaurants to more than 450 in more than 35 markets across the country.
Fogarty's background was originally in advertising, with stops at Barkley & Evergreen (Kansas City), Martin/Williams Advertising (Minneapolis), Barnhart Advertising (Denver) and his own brand consulting firm which he had for five years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Kansas and studied at Loyola University of Chicago in Rome, Italy.
