Krispy Kreme Announces Results of its 2009 Annual Shareholder Meeting

Winston-Salem, N.C., /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (NYSE: KKD) announced the voting results of its Annual Meeting of Shareholders held today in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

During the meeting, shareholders re-elected three Board members who were in a class up for election: James H. Morgan, Andrew J. Schindler and Togo D. West, Jr. An amendment to the Company's 2000 Stock Incentive Plan to increase the number of shares issuable thereunder was also approved by shareholders. Additionally, shareholders ratified the appointment of the Company's independent registered public accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
