Packages and promotions across all brands offer a break from economic fatigue

As more consumers are adapting to the "New Normal," which can include giving up leisure activities like restaurant meals, baseball games and concerts, IHG's family of brands is offering a break from economic fatigue with a series of value-add packages and promotions that make it easier for guests to do the things they enjoy. From Big Bertha golf clubs to ZZ Top, there's something for every guest.

The following packages and promotions are available at IHG hotels in the U.S. and Canada:

Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts

Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts lets travelers drive away leisure-spending guilt with its "Get a Better Game" promotion. Between now and Aug. 19, 2009, guests who stay at Crowne Plaza hotels can earn new premium Callaway Golf® equipment worth up to $1,300 as well as discounts on golf fees at courses across the country. The more nights stayed during the promotional period, the more guests will earn! Hotel nights do not need to be consecutive and all qualifying rates apply.

  • 1 night: one sleeve of Callaway Golf Tour ix balls
  • 5 nights: one box of a dozen Callway Golf Tour ix balls
  • 10 nights: Callaway Golf X-Forged wedge
  • 15 nights: Callaway Golf Big Bertha Diablo Fairway Wood
  • 20 nights: Callaway Golf Big Bertha Diablo Driver
  • 25 nights: one full set of Callaway Golf X-22 irons

Also during the promotion period, Crowne Plaza guests get up to 20 percent off green fees and club rental discounts at nearby golf courses when they stay at participating Crowne Plaza® hotels across the U.S. Markets with golf courses may vary.

Hotel Indigo®

Hotel Indigo is treating guests to dinner in some of the best neighborhoods in town! Whether traveling for business or pleasure, guests at participating Hotel Indigo properties can savor the Neighborhood Nosh package, providing deluxe accommodations, breakfast for two at the hotel café and a $25 prepaid credit card towards lunch or dinner at a nearby neighborhood eatery. From now to Aug. 31, 2009, this package encourages guests to get to know the neighborhood around each Hotel Indigo property, all of which are located in close proximity to a wide array of unique dining options.

Holiday Inn®

For travelers looking to enjoy America's favorite pastime with their families, every eight nights stayed at a Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express or Holiday Inn Club Vacations property is a home run! When guests book with the "Road to the Game" promotion, they can score 2 MLB® tickets good for any 2009 or 2010 regular season game for every eight nights stayed until Aug. 31, 2009. Through a sponsorship with Major League Baseball Properties, Holiday Inn, the "Official Partner of Road Trips" is committed to creating memorable experiences for its most loyal customers and encourages guests to get closer to the ballpark every night.

Holiday Inn Club VacationsTM

In addition to being part of Holiday Inn's "Road to the Game" promotion, IHG's new timeshare brand is offering guests at its Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Ascutney Mountain Resort the chance to experience the great outdoors. Four different packages are available at this vibrant Brownsville, Vt., resort, giving guests multiple options to explore the breathtaking mountain scenery. Packages start at $135 per night.

Staybridge Suites®

Staybridge Suites is heating up the summer! The brand's guests love grilling out when they're at home, and they love Staybridge Suites' weekly Wednesday night Barbecue Sundowner Receptions when they're on the road. With that in mind, Staybridge Suites partnered with Big Green Egg® and Coca-Cola® to develop the Grillin' and Chillin' Summer Giveaway.

Check in. Rock out. Music fans are invited on the Candlewood Suites Summer Tour '09 with the Classic Rock Summer Promotion. Candlewood Suites guests that stay between now and Sept. 15 will earn one entry per night to win one of ten $1,000 Ticketmaster® gift cards.

Guests can also enter for a chance to win by submitting their favorite classic rock band through the promotion website. Even better, guests registered for the promotion will earn five free song downloads per stay when they book online through any IHG website.
