Great Clips Opens Franchised Salon in Wilmington, North Carolina
Franchise located in Long Leaf Mall
July 15, 2009 // Franchising.com // Rob Goggins, vice president of franchise development for Great Clips, Inc., announced the Grand Opening of the company's newest franchised salon in Long Leaf Mall, Wilmington, North Carolina.
"This manager-run salon is located on high-traffic South College Road, at the intersection Route 441 and Shipyard Boulevard in New Hanover County," said Goggins. "The mall is anchored by a Harris Teeter, and our Great Clips is surrounded by several popular eateries including Krispy Kreme and Rita's. The demographics of the area are well suited for our value-priced, no appointment necessary service.
"Our franchise owners open to a $55-billion hair-care industry. With more than $700 million in total system-wide sales, Great Clips is the industry leader. And we're in a growing market. People get their hair cut every four to five weeks, and our same-store sales have increased consistently for several years."
