Days Inn Brand Present in All 50 States with Hawaii Opening

July 21, 2009 // Franchising.com // PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Days Inns Worldwide, one of North America's most well-known hotel companies, today announced that with the opening of its first hotel in Maui, Hawaii, the brand has achieved a milestone that few are able to tout: a presence in all 50 United States.

Owned and operated by Western Apartment Supply & Maintenance Company, the 87-room hotel makes the Days Inn brand, which has more than 1,850 hotels throughout the world, the first chain from Wyndham Hotel Group's family of lodging brands to have a hotel in the state of Hawaii.

The Days Inn brand is currently Wyndham Hotel Group's largest hotel chain by number of rooms and is the sixth largest in the world. It has a presence in 14 countries.

Properties in North America and most properties in other regions feature high-speed Internet access, SolTerre® bath amenities and weekday newspapers. Select properties offer complimentary DayBreak® continental breakfast, meeting rooms, banquet facilities, copy and fax services, swimming pools and fitness centers.

Located at 2980 S. Kihei Road, on Maui's Keawakapu Beach, the Days Inn Maui Oceanfront hotel offers a host of complimentary amenities including free in-room microwaves and mini-fridges and Tempur-pedic mattresses in all rooms. It also features Sarento's, an on-site four-diamond restaurant specializing in Northern Italian cuisine.
