Allegra Network Announces Bob Milroy as Chief Marketing Officer

Leading Print and Graphic Communications Company Bolsters Professional Service Capabilities with Marketing Veteran

July 31, 2009 // Franchising.com // Northville, MI – Allegra Network, the nearly 600-unit worldwide franchise company specializing in print and graphic communications, has appointed Bob Milroy as its chief marketing officer to oversee all marketing functions for the company.

"Bob is a veteran marketing professional with a proven track record and someone who we can count on to provide great support internally and for our franchisees," said Carl Gerhardt, president and CEO of Allegra Network. "He brings a new level of marketing expertise to the organization."

Milroy began his career at the NCR Corporation where he served as marketing communications manager for medical, education and government markets. In 1976, he joined Alexander Marketing Services, a full-service business-to-business marketing services agency as an account supervisor, rising to company president in 1985. Under Milroy's leadership, Alexander Marketing became a perennial Top 50 Agency as ranked by B to B Magazine, serving dozens of clients such as Dow Chemical, Siemens, Dover Corporation, Pentair and CSA International.

"Throughout my career, the most rewarding relationships have been with smaller business leaders where every marketing investment decision is critical," Milroy commented. "At Allegra Network, this will be my sole focus, whether it's helping a franchise member decide how to market themselves or help them construct programs for their clients. I am thrilled to be a part of it."

In addition to accessing Milroy's 35 years of marketing expertise, franchise members will also continue to receive comprehensive support and consultation from the company's 10-person internal Marketing Group. This group provides award-winning sales, marketing and public relations programs that build brand awareness, customer loyalty and name recognition within their communities.

Milroy has served on the Business Mail Council of the Direct Marketing Association and the boards of several non-profit organizations including the Humane Society and St. Vincent De Paul in the marketing consultant capacity.
