Rapper 50 Cent Appearance At Manhattan Play N Trade Recap



August 05, 2009 // Franchising.com // Multi-platinum selling rap artist 50 Cent made an appearance at the Manhattan Play N Trade store on April 30, 2009 from 3:30-5:00 p.m to promote his new video game, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. 50 Cent, who has sold over 22 million records worldwide, is also known to be an avid video gamer.

Play N Trade of Manhattan, located at 137 E. 13 Street, hosted the event which featured Blood on the Sand playing on one of three demo station game consoles as well as customer meet and greet with 50 Cent.

Roger Lloyd, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Play N Trade, said it's an honor to have such a famous New York City icon in the store.

"50 Cent is well-known, not only as a rap music icon but also as a gamer," Lloyd said. "We are excited to have him here and can't wait for this exciting event."
