New Bojangles' Restaurant 'Spices Up' James Island

Longtime Bojangles' Owner and Operator Opens Up His 19th Restaurant in James Island South Carolina

August 12, 2009 // Franchising.com // James Island, SC K-BO, Inc. is satisfying local residents' craving for Bojangles' "Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits" with the July 3rd opening of one of the chain's largest restaurants in the Charleston area, located in James Island. Situated at 740 Folly Road and spanning nearly 4,000 square feet, the new location carries on the warm, friendly Bojangles' tradition in a spacious environment.

"Given South Carolina residents' strong affinity for Bojangles', we want to offer a dining experience that is equally as memorable for the food as it is for the environment in which they are spending their meal time," said Kevin Archer, owner of K-BO, Inc. "We are always trying to exceed our customers' expectations."

The new restaurant's interior and exterior were built in Bojangles' updated design standards. The brand's new prototype store includes a shift towards fast casual dining, blending quick service with a casual dining atmosphere. "We have included a rich wood trim to highlight the new upscale look," says Archer.

Bojangles' serves freshly made breakfast, lunch and dinner items from 5:00 a.m. – 10 p.m., with drive-thru open until 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and open until 12 midnight Friday and Saturday. Every meal option, including breakfast, is available all day and night, everyday to customers.

"We are extremely proud of the love affair James Island residents have with other area locations," said Archer. "The bond they have with the brand will certainly grow stronger with the new restaurant given that diners will experience the same food, fun and service in an updated space with increased capacity."

The James Island location will be Archer's 19th location he has opened in the past 20 years. This is the first location that he is opening in South Carolina. All other K-Bo locations are located in North Carolina in the Greater Charlotte area.
