Mike Marach, a former trainer with a Fortune 150 company, will teach the owners of Pro Energy Consultants franchises a system for growing their business.
Cleveland, OH, August 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Mike Marach, a seasoned sales trainer who has trained with some of the most recognized names in the country, has recently joined Pro Energy Consultants as director of business development training. Beginning this month, he'll begin training franchise owners through an eight-week webinar course on how to develop a system for business development.
Pro Energy Consultants, the nation's first home energy audit franchise, provides homeowners with standardized, comprehensive energy audits designed to maximize the home's energy efficiency and reduce energy costs.
"My main goal is to help our franchises to ramp up their business quickly so they can get out in their community and start conducting audits and building their business," said Marach. "I look forward to helping our franchisees grow their business and meet their goals."
Marach said he feels Pro Energy Consultants is a great fit for him because of his experience working with small business owners, particularly with those in the mechanical contracting industry--such as heating and air conditioning.

Marach refers to his sales training as non-traditional and "non-salesy."
"A lot of the skills I teach are going to be 'soft skills' that will make customers feel very comfortable," he said. "But ultimately, to be successful in any business, you have to have a lot of belief and conviction in your product or service. And from the short time I've been associated with this company, I've been impressed with the amount of belief and conviction I've seen in our franchise owners."
Marach began his sales career in 1986 and quickly moved into sales management. He has sold and managed salespeople in three different industries, both in small businesses and large corporations. Most recently, he was a manager of sales development for a Fortune 150 company, where he helped implement a complete selling system--as well as provided training and coaching to general managers, sales managers, and salespeople from more than ten different business units. Marach graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in economics.
