Headline News looks for new fitness options in America

September 02, 2009 // Franchising.com // DENVER — illuminate gym is happy to announce that they have been contacted by Headline News for a New Year's special this upcoming year. The story will be based on new career ideas for a struggling economy. The idea for the show grew out of the perception that there are many sophisticated and capable individuals who have been laid off in the last year. It is also this special's platform that they should only highlight careers that will help the community around them.

illuminate gym was the first franchise interviewed by the producers of this special for Headline News because the executive producer believed the illuminate gym model was something new and fresh that could attract future entrepreneurs. After a 3 weeks of looking into other fitness franchises illuminate gym was contacted by Headline News to inform them they are interested in setting up a shoot schedule in Denver, Colorado for the New Year special on Headline News. 'It's an honor our business has been selected for consideration on Headline News especially because we are such a young franchise. However, it's not surprising because our business model was developed to be different than any other fitness franchises in the industry," David Sedbrook CEO of illuminate gym said.

illuminate gym is planning to host the film crew in October at a facility in Denver, Colorado where owner and founder David Sedbrook will be interviewed about 'High Oxygen Training' and the illuminate gym culture. 'It's an exciting time in our business' development because people around the country and the world are starting to realize that people need a new option when it comes to their fitness. Fitness is about building a community of people. We're not trying to reinvent the wheel at illuminate gym we're just trying to change the fitness experience like Starbucks changed the perception of a cup of coffee. In other words, the experience is as important as the actual product. That's the difference with illuminate gym," David Sedbrook CEO and founder of illuminate gym said.
