Weichert Raises Funds for the American Cancer Society at Its Ninth Annual Golf Outing

September 03, 2009 // Franchising.com // MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. – Weichert, Realtors announced today that it raised $30,000 for the American Cancer Society during its ninth annual charity golf event and banquet. The funds will benefit the American Cancer Society and breast cancer research. Weichert, Realtors has donated approximately $325,000 since the inception of the annual fundraiser.

"On behalf of Weichert, Realtors, I would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the event," said Jacelyn Botti, Head of Residential Sales for Weichert, Realtors. "Our annual golf outing is just one of the many ways Weichert, Realtors tries to give back to the communities we serve."

The Weichert, Realtors Golf Outing was held Aug. 20 at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, N.J. Nearly 200 golfers participated in the event which included a buffet luncheon, 18-hole golf tournament and post-tournament awards banquet and auction. Additionally, golf merchandise, gift certificates and flat screen TVs were among the many prizes raffled off to attendees of the event.

Numerous companies and organizations sponsored Weichert's charity golf outing.
