New Green Cleaning Service Purchased by Local Entrepreneur

Area business person purchases EcoMaids franchise to provide environmentally friendly cleanings and products

Marietta, GA (PRWEB) September 10, 2009 -- Derek Sanders has recently become a franchise owner for EcoMaids, a home and business cleaning service which uses only green and environmentally safe products.

"I'm very excited to have acquired such a wonderful business," says Sanders, a Marietta-area resident. "It's essential for people in Cobb County to have a choice in how they have their homes and businesses cleaned - a choice that provides the highest quality cleaning service possible while using products that keep your living and work spaces naturally healthy and sparkling clean."

Sanders points to current statistics that show how much the conventional cleaning industry consumes each year:

  • 8 billion pounds of chemicals that are hazardous to your health and to the environment
  • 4.5 billion pounds of janitorial paper products, consuming tens of millions of trees
  • 1 billion pounds of tools and equipment, filling 40,000 garbage trucks headed to landfills

"With the right cleaning products and practices, like the ones EcoMaids requires all franchisees to use, every clean room leaves the planet a little nicer in the process," he says.

Prior to becoming an EcoMaids owner, Sanders worked as a manager in the home services industry for more than 14 years. As an EcoMaid franchisee, Sanders will provide cleaning services throughout the Cobb County area.
