MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dunn Bros Coffee Franchising, Inc., a market leader in specialty coffee, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dunn Bros Coffee Chief Financial Officer, Kim Plahn, as President and CFO. In her new role, Plahn will oversee company operations and spearhead strategic company growth opportunities.

Plahn has extensive financial, managerial, and operational experience in both privately held and public companies. Her career encompasses over twenty four years with companies such as McGladrey Hendrickson, Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company as well as Damark International where she had been promoted to Vice President of Finance. During her tenure at Damark, the company transcended from a start-up organization with net revenues of $26 million to a publicly held corporation with revenues in excess of $600 million. "While this is a difficult time for many in business it also provides a number of great opportunities," said Plahn.
