MaidPro's Home Office says 'It's About Time' to Serve Community

September 16, 2009 // Franchising.com // - MaidPro's home office staff focused their efforts on community service at Boston's Community Servings Kitchen on Thursday, Sept. 10. Feeling the need to give back to the city of Boston, more than half of the MaidPro home office participated in this program, which delivers healthy, nutritious meals to people suffering from life threatening diseases like HIV/AIDS and cancer.

President and co-founder Richard Sparacio says "This was a great opportunity to give something back to the Boston community and have fun with coworkers all in one event."

MaidPro employees spent their night at Community Servings packaging frozen fruit into containers to go into meals for that week as well as separating fresh parsley from its stem so it could be used as a healthier seasoning in other meals. The franchisor plans to adopt a shift at Community Servings to volunteer every month.
