SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 16 // PRNewswire // -- October is National Cookie Month and America's most loved cookie company, Mrs. Fields, is eager to celebrate. Mrs. Fields invites all cookie lovers to join them in celebrating the start of National Cookie Month! To kick off the festivities, participating Mrs. Fields stores will give away a free chocolate chip cookie to each customer on Thursday, October 1st, from 11am to 1pm. Like all Mrs. Fields cookies, the Chocolate Chip is made with all natural, premium ingredients including a proprietary vanilla and chocolate.

The excitement continues throughout National Cookie Month with more deals and treats from Mrs. Fields! "Cookies are a fun way to honor many different occasions in people's lives, so it only seems natural to join in the celebration that pays tribute to cookies," says Steve Willes, Mrs. Fields' Director of Marketing. "We believe that part of our business is putting smiles on people's faces and we hope that our Free Cookie Day, as well as the frequent cookie card and coupon, will provide plenty of reason for people to celebrate and keep smiling."

In addition to the famous Chocolate Chip, Mrs. Fields offers a wide array of cookies that are delicious to eat year round, and are perfect as gifts or personal indulgences. When Debbi Fields opened the first Mrs. Fields store, she did it with little more than a great chocolate chip cookie recipe and a passion to succeed. Today, that original cookie is just as hot and Americans can't get enough. Quality, more than anything, accounts for Mrs. Fields worldwide acceptance, and the mission has always been to create the highest quality baked good treat possible - every time.
