Located at 1150 Kuala Street in Pearl City, the store will provide local new and expectant parents access to the best and broadest assortment of baby products and specialty services offered by the nation's leading dedicated baby products retailer. In addition, the store will create new jobs, employing approximately 70 knowledgeable associates. With the opening of this store, the company now operates 263 Babies"R"Us locations nationwide.

Grand Opening Weekend Activities and Charitable Giving

From Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, the Pearl City store will commemorate its grand opening with a celebration for parents and children featuring Story Time throughout the weekend and Mommy & Me Music Time on Friday morning. Visits from favorite costumed characters, including Dora, Arthurô and D.W.™, Care Bear™ Funshine Bear™, Brobee from Nick Jr.'s Yo Gabba Gabba!™, and of course, Geoffrey® will also take place throughout the weekend. The NICU offers highly specialized care for newborns up to three months, including medical management, care coordination and developmental assessments for newborns discharged from the NICU.

Prior to the store's opening on Friday, September 18, Reverend Richard Kamanu of Kaumakapili Church will join company officials to offer a traditional new business dedication and Hawaiian blessing for the first Babies"R"Us location in Hawaii.
