Wichita is the largest city in Kansas and is known for its aviation and western heritage. The new AmericInn of Wichita South is located near the Sedgwick County Zoo, Rock River Rapids and Old Town, which is a revitalized warehouse district with turn-of-the-century buildings, brick streets, lights and boardwalks. The area offers visitors shopping, dining and entertainment activities.
The AmericInn Lodging System is one of the premiere hotel chains in the United States with approximately 230 locations currently open or under development in 22 states, with a large representation in the Upper Midwest. The success and solid growth of the AmericInn Lodging System is due to the chain's commitment to provide friendly service, an affordable stay and a comfortable atmosphere where guests can relax, renew and recharge. AmericInn competes across the mid-scale without food and beverage segment and is franchised by Northcott Hospitality, a Minnesota-based company with headquarters in Chanhassen.
