Shop provides opportunity to indulge in childhood favorites

(DATE) – D'Lish Franchise Group, franchisor of D'lish – a one-of-a-kind soda pop and sweet shop - today announced the opening of its first store slated for Friday, Oct. 30 at the Fashion Place Mall in Murray, Utah. The opening marks the first of nine locations the company plans to open over the next eight months.
"We believe this concept is unlike anything in the market today and has tremendous potential to easily be replicated across any market," said Todd Welker, co-founder of D'Lish Franchise Group. "We are not a fast-food restaurant, commercial ice cream shop or kiosk with vending machine or convenience store goods. Our nostalgia-driven menu appeals to the palette, pocketbook and emotions."
Inspired by old-fashioned soda fountains and town fairs, D'lish will feature menu items that offer a new twist on some classic childhood favorites. Nostalgic menu items include hand-made Italian sodas, shaved ice, freshly prepared cotton candy, funnel cake fries, flavored popcorn, candied nuts, and churros…just to name a few.

D'Lish Franchise Group is a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based company that founded the original business concept of D'Lish Soda Pop and Sweet Shop in 2009. The group, which is poised to open nine D'Lish locations throughout the country over the next eight months, designed the concept to accommodate the need for fast-paced, casual fare with a fresh flair.
