Experienced Bojangles' Restaurant Operator Opens New Location in Lugoff

Local resident boosts Bojangles' Midland's presence with second opening in Kershaw County

November 10, 2009 // Franchising.com // Lugoff, S.C. – Local entrepreneur Eddie Frazier is satisfying Lugoff residents' craving for Bojangles' "Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits" with this week's Grand Opening of the chain's newest location at 497 Highway 601 South. Conveniently situated just a half mile off of Interstate 20, the restaurant features drive-thru and in-store dining beginning with breakfast and continuing through dinner late into the evening.

"Bojangles' has a strong brand and a large following. We want to bring its quality food and service to the area's residents, workforce and Interstate 20 travelers who have never had the opportunity to experience Bojangles' and also to those who have loved it for years," said Frazier, the owner of Frazier Service Co., LLC, which now operates two Bojangles' locations. "At Bojangles, we like to give our customers what they love most, made-from-scratch chicken and biscuits, at any time they want."

Part of the new 8,000 square foot family travel center in Lugoff, the new location's interior and exterior were built according to Bojangles' updated design standards spanning 3,500 square feet with the capacity to seat 50. Guests of the restaurant will experience the brand's new prototype store with a shift towards fast casual dining, blending quick service with a casual dining atmosphere.

Connected to a Shell station at the family travel center, Lugoff's Bojangles' is uniquely the chain's only full-size, co-branded location in the country. The opening of this Bojangles will contribute to the Midland's economic landscape with the addition of more than 40 new jobs.

In celebration of the opening, Bojangles' is giving its legendary ice tea, steeped the old-fashioned way, free to customers presenting a coupon, which is available in Wednesday's Camden Chronicle-Independent.

Frazier, a longtime restaurant industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in owning and operating quick-serve destinations, runs his Bojangles' business with son Matt, who serves as director of operations for the Lugoff restaurant and the Camden location. Eddie is also an operating partner in seven Bojangles' restaurants in nearby Columbia.

The Frazier's Lugoff Bojangles' creates new meal options at all day parts. Freshly made breakfast starts at 5am and lasts throughout the day.
