Mathnasium Learning Centers To Offer U.s. Military Veterans A Franchise Fee Discount

Company Joins VetFran Program & Will Assist Veterans with Franchise Ownership via Financial Incentives

November 13, 2009 // Franchising.com // Los Angeles, CA – Mathnasium Learning Centers announced today that it is participating in the International Franchise Association's VetFran program for men and women who have served in the U.S. Military. The company will offer a $2,500 discount off its franchise fee as an incentive to help former military personnel become franchise owners.

VetFran is a voluntary effort of International Franchise Association member-companies that is designed to encourage franchise ownership by offering financial incentives to honorably discharged veterans. In joining VetFran, Mathnasium becomes part of a group of more than 400 franchises who have agreed to offer financial incentives to bring veterans into their systems.

"We are honored to participate in a program like VetFran that provides business ownership opportunities to veterans as they transition from military life to civilian life," said Peter Markovitz, president of Mathnasium.
