ATLANTA /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Aaron's, Inc. (NYSE: AAN) surprised Ruth Usher, the grand prize winner of Aaron's National Lucky Dog Day Sweepstakes, on Wednesday morning at her home in Perry, Georgia, with a houseful of furniture, name-brand appliances and electronics valued at $14,000.

Aaron's, Inc. distributed more than 1.7 million letters with unique prize numbers during the National Lucky Dog Day contest in October. In addition to Ms. Usher being chosen as the Grand Prize Winner, 98 additional winners received prizes such as flat screen TVs and laptop computers.
Ms. Usher's prize package includes a 7-piece living room set, a 9-piece dining room, two 7-piece bedroom groups, a 60" Mitsubishi 1080p DLP Big Screen TV with TV stand, a 42" JVC 1080p LCD Flat Panel TV, a 32" Sharp Aquos LCD Flat Panel TV, two JVC Home Theater in a Box systems, a Frigidaire 23 cu. ft side x side Refrigerator, a Frigidaire Front Load High Efficiency Washer/Dryer Laundry Pair, a Dell Inspiron laptop, and an HP Mini Netbook.
Ms. Usher, a 61-year-old mother of five, with 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, was thrilled with being the Lucky Dog Day Sweepstakes Grand Prize winner.
