T.G.I. Friday's(R) Restaurants in Texas to Donate Portion of Thanksgiving Day Sales to Assist Fort Hood Community

CARROLLTON, Texas // PRNewswire // -- T.G.I. Friday's today announced that all 50 restaurants in its home state of Texas will donate 5% of net sales from Thanksgiving Day to the United Service Organizations to assist the Fort Hood community which lost 13 of its loved ones during the tragic events of November 5. All Friday's restaurants in Texas will open in the afternoon on Thursday, November 26.

"As a caring member of Killeen and the Fort Hood community, T.G.I. Friday's decided to make this donation to assist those affected by the recent tragedy," said John Neitzel, president and chief operating officer of T.G.I. Friday's U.S.A. "Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the families of the fallen, the dozens who were wounded and all of those who serve and live at Fort Hood not only on Thanksgiving, but every day."
