ACE Cash Express Supports Junior Achievement With $25,000 Donation to Help Enrich the Lives of Local Students

DALLAS // PRNewswire // -- ACE Cash Express, Inc. recently announced a donation of $25,000 to Junior Achievement of Dallas, furthering their commitment to invest in the communities they serve.

The check presentation took place at Townsell Elementary School in Irving, Texas where ACE associates gathered together to teach Junior Achievement's JA in a Day program to third through fifth grade students.

This donation is part of ACE's corporate giving program - the ACE Community Fund - supporting organizations that help children, support education and promote financial literacy. Since its inception, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $3 million to charitable organizations throughout the nation.

"Junior Achievement of Dallas is thrilled that ACE Cash Express has identified us as their primary partner for financial literacy," said Junior Achievement of Dallas President Linda Schoelkopf. "We are excited to have ACE on board as a partner of Junior Achievement and look forward to many more productive years."

In addition to an annual monetary donation, ACE associates volunteer their time to teach the Junior Achievement program to local students. Twice a year, ACE associates spend the day with kindergarten through fifth-grade students teaching the fundamentals of finance and economics through a unique hands-on learning experience. The Junior Achievement program aligns perfectly with the goals of ACE's Community Fund and as a result, ACE has had the opportunity to reach more than 2,000 students in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

"Here at ACE we are so excited to be a part of Junior Achievement," said Joe Edwards, ACE associate and Junior Achievement board member. "We have an opportunity to not only give money to this organization, but also participate directly by teaching students in a classroom setting. We look forward to future opportunities to partner with Junior Achievement."
