UNITS Mobile Storage Reaches New Heights with National Conference

UNITS Team Creates Plan to Propel Franchise into 2010 and Beyond

Charleston, SC --(PR.com)-- UNITS Mobile Storage franchises from around the country traveled to Charleston November 14-16 with the intention to look back on a successful 2009 and create strategic plans for continued expansion and success in the future. 2009 proved to be an exciting year as UNITS welcomed seven new territories across the US and increased the overall quantity of containers by more than twenty percent. The Charleston-based mobile storage company has proven itself to be an innovative leader in the industry with door-to-door service and continual container upgrades.

"As a rapidly expanding franchise we want to make sure to stay up to speed with current trends and continue to gain market share," explained UNITS COO John Steeves. "In order to achieve this, we needed to discuss what our successes of 2009 were in order to develop a plan that will not only improve our services but optimize our overall efforts."

UNITS invited keynote speaker, Michael Veeck, part owner of five baseball teams to speak about creating joy and passion in the workplace. Veeck has appeared as a business expert on numerous high profile shows including 60 Minutes, Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel and Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

David Chapman and Sue Yannello from 919 Marketing headlined a roundtable discussion to explain the importance of brand awareness and promote a variety of marketing tactics including search engine optimization, social media, e-blasts and public relations efforts.

Steeves added, "As our new PR partner, we wanted 919 to speak to the UNITS franchisees in order to share their proven strategies and success stories in mapping out PR strategies for franchises across the U.S."

The UNITS team plans to apply new and innovative marketing programs in 2010 and to develop new systems to further propel the UNITS brand. Over the past year, UNITS has been in the process of developing its new delivery system that was designed to best all other mobile storage industry delivery systems in safety, price, and advancement. UNITS is determined to become the face of the mobile storage industry.
