Moe's New Junior Burritos Are Here to Stay

January 06, 2010 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA, Ga. – When the Joey Junior burrito limited time offer was introduced in January, women and teenagers fell in love with it. In the fall even more guests got hooked when Moe's began offering all of its burritos in a junior size. And now, after seeing a positive trend in year-over-year same store sales since introducing this 'tweener burrito, Moe's has decided Junior Burritos are here to stay.

"While Moe's giant Homewrecker continues to be a fan favorite, it is clear that consumers want the option to order something smaller," explains Joel Bulger, vice president of marketing for Moe's. "In addition to a great value, fresh ingredients and fast, friendly service, consumers are increasingly looking for healthy alternatives and guilt-free portion sizes. We want our guests to have that option everyday at Moe's."

From now until forever, guests who love the Homewrecker, Joey Bag of Donuts, Art Vandalay or Triple Lindy burrito can get the same ingredients they love in a tortilla that's a bit smaller. Moe's Junior Burritos are perfectly portioned between a full-sized burrito and the kid's size burrito.
