ERA Real Estate to Host "Saving the Dream of Homeownership" Seminar in Nashville

Open to the public, industry experts will discuss and answer questions regarding foreclosures and short sales at the 25th Annual Stellar Awards in Tennessee

January 14, 2010 // Franchising.com // PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- ERA Franchise Systems LLC will be conducting a homeownership seminar that is open to the public as part of its first sponsorship of the 25th Annual Stellar Awards, the premier Gospel music event.

The seminar, entitled, "Saving the Dream of Homeownership," will educate attendees about foreclosures and short sales. A panel of foreclosure experts and real estate and mortgage professionals including Linda Yates, director of education at Foreclosure.com, Bryan Phillips of PHH Mortgage and R. Darnell Tate of ERA Legacy Realty in Memphis, Tenn. will discuss the issues and address questions and concerns from members of the community.

This seminar will provide helpful information to those who may be facing the loss of their own home and those who may be looking to buy a home. "ERA Real Estate understands that homeowners and homebuyers need solid information about foreclosures and short sales in order to make smart decisions for themselves and their families," said Debbie McGriff, vice president of business development at ERA Franchise Systems LLC. The Stellar Awards will be recorded live at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashhville, Tenn., on Jan. 16, 2010. Hosted by three of the most well-known entertainers in the gospel industry, Kirk Franklin, Vickie Winans and Donnie McClurkin, it is expected that more than 5,000 people will converge on Music City to witness the silver anniversary of the first and only nationally televised award show that salutes African-American gospel artists.

The Saving the Dream of Homeownership seminar will be held at the Sheraton Music City Hotel located at 777 McGavock Pike in Nashville, Tenn., at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15. All are welcome to attend.
