Jodie Shaw Named CEO of ActionCOACH

ActionCOACH names four new CEOs for the company: Vic Ciuffetelli, Alejandro de Gyves, Jodie Shaw and David Holland.

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 15 // PRNewswire // -- About a year after she was named Director of Franchise Sales, ActionCOACH has appointed Jodie Shaw as one of its new CEOs. She will take over her new role in January 2010.

Shaw has held previous positions from ActionCOACH's global office, headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. Prior to her position as the Director of Franchise Sales, Shaw headed the marketing efforts for the ActionCOACH brand for four years as the Director of Marketing. In that role, she dramatically improved ActionCOACH's competitive position via the profitable marketing of the company's products and services.

While serving as the Director of Marketing, Shaw dramatically improved ActionCOACH's competitive position via the profitable marketing of the company's products and services, and had the goal of expanding the company into 120 countries before the end of 2012.
As CEO, that is still her goal, and she'll be working on many more strategies for ActionCOACH in her new position. A deep sense of commitment, passion, creativity and strategic thinking has been the foundation of Shaw's career.

"I am very close to the brand and this has been a change that I am excited about. It is an honor that I've been able to reach this position so early in my career," Shaw said.

Prior to joining ActionCOACH, Shaw worked in both strategic and creative roles in direct marketing, advertising and management, and as a copywriter and journalist. A high achiever with platinum standards, she has been the backbone of the company – continuously striving to maintain and improve the company's competitiveness through strategic and creative thinking.
When the company's name changed from Action International to ActionCOACH, Shaw was given only six months for the whole rebranding project. At the time, she had a small team and had to work hard to reach her goal – which she accomplished.

"I have put in a lot of time for this brand to grow, and it is good to go forward and lead the company now as CEO," Shaw said. "I have a huge amount I'd like to accomplish in 2010, but I'll still oversee the marketing department. Wearing multiple hats has been a real challenge, but I'm confident I can achieve all I plan to for the ActionCOACH."

ActionCOACH is the world's number one business coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries.
