BOSTON --(BUSINESS WIRE)-- There's nothing more romantic than sharing food with a loved one in a cozy and intimate space. This Valentine's Day weekend, The Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant, offers a recipe for romance with a stroll down Lover's Lane (secluded seating areas for couples) to ignite or reignite that romantic spark.

All four locations are offering special Valentine's features that aren't regularly offered on their menus. Valentine's diners will be able to indulge in unique items such as Cranberry Walnut and Bourbon Bacon Cheddar cheese fondues, entrees of filet, lobster, shrimp and chicken and Passion Fruit, Chambord and Strawberry Shortcake chocolate fondues.

Coupled with other sensual sweets like strawberries, marshmallows and cheesecake, The Melting Pot's chocolate fondue is the perfect recipe for romance. Long believed to be an aphrodisiac, chocolate has phenylethylamine and serotonin, two chemicals that light up pleasure areas in the brain. Even better, eating chocolate causes the brain to release endorphins, making people feel loved.

"Our Lover's Lane tables are most requested, and we've had many a romantic order flowers or a favorite bottle of wine from us in advance to be set at the tables for special occasions," says Kirsten Fischer, director of marketing for the four Massachusetts and Rhode Island Melting Pots. "Some of our tables are so secluded that couples can't be seen by anyone else in the restaurant."

A typical dining experience at The Melting Pot lasts approximately two hours for the four courses.
