Home of the Original Hamburger Puts Hometown Favorites Back on the Map

LAKE FOREST, Calif. // PRNewswire // -- The all-American favorites of Johnny Rockets Original Hamburgers return to Monroe, Mich. Feb. 8, 2010 with the grand re-opening of the Hampton Plaza location. Johnny Rockets' Monroe restaurant will feature an expanded menu, including a newly-priced Original Junior hamburger, authentic dessert options, and a variety of soup choices.

Originally opened in 2008, operators of the Johnny Rockets Monroe location surveyed customers and gathered feedback during a five-month hiatus in an effort to emphasize high-quality menu items at an affordable price. The new menu will feature a new Junior hamburger with fries and a variety of soup choices.

In addition to offering Johnny Rockets' timeless classics of hand-dipped shakes and malts, guests will enjoy upgraded dessert options that include regional favorites such as coconut cream, butterscotch and banana cream pies, as well as an expanded ice cream sundae menu. The 3,400-square-foot restaurant also features a special events area designed to accommodate birthday parties and community events.

The Monroe franchise is owned by Jim and Patti Arnold and Tom and Betty Barron.
