Pizza Pizza Opens Fourth British Columbia Location in New Westminster

TORONTO, ONTARIO -(Marketwire) - Pizza Pizza is continuing its Western Canada expansion with the opening of a store in New Westminster, British Columbia. The new location is the first opening of the New Year and the fourth B.C. location to open in just over a year.

Located at 527 6th Street, or near '6th and 6th' at the Westminster Mall, the new store will cater to busy shoppers and the community alike. This opening follows new stores in Delta, Burnaby and Port Coquitlam last year.

"Pizza Pizza would like to welcome the New West franchisee Naveen and his wife Deepika to our nation-wide family."

The new location features a clean, bright and welcoming seating area that reflects a growing focus on dine-in business, as well as delivery. There is seating for four to five people inside with capacity for an additional eight to ten seat on the outdoor patio. The restaurant will offer the same menu items offered by other Western Canadian locations, including: panzerottis, boneless chicken bites and wings, in addition to a full menu of signature and à la carte pizzas.

"I was attracted to the New West community because it looks so alive," said Naveen Mehta who opened the store in partnership with his wife Deepika. Before working at Pizza Pizza, Naveen worked in networking and programming for IT infrastructure. More recently, Naveen had been working at the Burnaby Pizza Pizza location perfecting his craft before deciding to branch out on his own and open the New West store.

Pizza Pizza will continue to expand throughout B.C. and the rest of Canada in the coming months.
