Fast casual chain receives distinguished airport concessions award
DALLAS, TX, March 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bruegger's was awarded a top prize last week from the airport industry's respected trade publication, Airport Revenue News (ARN). Already a leader in the fast casual restaurant segment, Bruegger's was recognized as the 2010 Best New Food and Beverage Concept in the Small Food and Beverage Operator Category. The award was presented during the Airport Revenue News Conference and Exhibition held in Houston, Texas on March 16th. The Small Food and Beverage Operator Category represents brands with less than forty million dollars in annual airport sales.
Airport Revenue News is the leading publication for news and information on airports. Every year, the magazine conducts a "Best Concessions Poll" with its readers. More than 200 industry judges vote on the concessionaires and airports, which are recognized for their outstanding accomplishments from the previous year.

The popular bakery-cafe chain launched its airport strategy in late 2006 and continues to actively pursue other airport locations.
The company continues to grow. In March, the chain will boast 295 locations in 26 states, the District of Columbia and Toronto. About one-third of its locations are franchise-owned, including two of its airport locations.
