Fitness Franchise Names Jim Warren Executive Director of Fitness Systems Advancement

Personal trainer to the pros will help 357 fitness studios get the public in shape.

March 25, 2010 // Franchising.com // HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – Fitness Together Franchise Corp., the world's largest personal training franchise, has gone to the pros to draft one of the most sought-after personal trainers to support the franchise network. Jim Warren, who has trained hundreds of professional athletes across the NFL, the NBA, the NHL and more in his career, will now serve as executive director of fitness systems advancement for Fitness Together.

In Warren's new role for Fitness Together, he will help hundreds of personal trainers across the franchise system approach their one-on-one personal training sessions with the big picture in mind. According to Warren, who also serves as CEO of SPORTS Performance Technologies, personal training is not about helping clients lose weight or bulk up. It's about guiding clients to dedicate themselves to lifelong health and wellness.

"I've never trained clients with a single goal in mind to make it to the World Series, win the Super Bowl or earn the MVP award," Warren said. "My approach to fitness is about a way of life."

Warren has mentored hundreds of personal trainers throughout his career and says conquering the yo-yo diets and sporadic exercise habits of the public at-large are a global imperative. His expertise has taken him around the world, doing business in South Africa, Japan, Italy, France and countless destinations. Today, as a resident of Highlands Ranch, Colo., he now has the Fitness Together Franchise Support Center in his backyard and 357 personal training fitness studios across the franchise network to add to that list.

A lifelong athlete, Warren was an All-America running back in high school, a football defensive back at Villanova University, a defensive back and a letterman in track at the University of New Hampshire, and a member of the U.S. Pro Ski Tour.
