Card Connection Franchise Anounces Love is in the Air with Card Connection's New Wedding and Anniversary Card Ranges

April 12, 2010 // Franchising.com // Love is in the air, as leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection announces the launch of a new Wedding and Anniversary range. The luxury greeting cards are now being distributed to more than 15,000 retail outlets through Card Connection's network of franchisees across the UK and Ireland, including the likes of Costcutter, Londis, Netto, Budgens, Spar, Haldanes and BP.

"Our focus on constantly updating and refreshing our extensive range, ensures our franchisees and valued retail customers always have the most appealing stock available on sale for consumers, just at the right time," explains Andrew Cutler, sales director of Card Connection. "With quality greeting cards to suit any occasion, our product selection now extends to more than 1,200 designs."

The new creations include some stunning handmade cards; one incorporates a wedding dress with a real lace insert and another with a die-cut, fun couple in a 'just married' wedding car. The large luxury format gets a strong traditional church scene, set off with a short-fold and scalloped edge. Other styles in the Wedding range include a cute tall card with sliver foil and other contemporary and text icon designs. Popular photographic images are included in a tall 'scrapbook' style card.

The anniversary additions include various handmade cards aimed to have a broad appeal. The large luxury format has a traditional and romantic feel featuring a dancing couple, an eye-catching 'cute' photo and an elegantly foiled short-fold, die-cut heart. Other designs include humour, beautifully illustrated tall cards and wordy sentiment.

Card Connection has limited vacancies for franchisees who are keen to run an expanding business. Successful candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, they would be expected to employ a small team, operate a warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.

Because the franchise networks in the UK and Ireland are complete, the available opportunities now consist of acquiring an already-established territory from an existing franchisee. These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £20,000 (+ stock) with earnings potential in excess of £50,000 per annum.

Card Connection is one of the UK's most successful card publishers and is the market leader in the franchised distribution of greeting cards.

The company was established in 1992 and became a Full Member of the British Franchise Association in 1995. It now distributes greeting cards to around 15,000 outlets through its network of 85 franchisees.
