Red Bank's quick-casual bakery restaurant spices up lunch menu with two new chipotle entrees

Manhattan Bagel is now offering two new chipotle lunch dishes at all locations for a limited time only, until July 1, 2010.

"Our two new chipotle lunch items fit in perfectly with our goal to be at the leading edge of what casual bakery customers want," said James O'Reilly, Chief Concept Officer of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc., the franchisor of Manhattan Bagel.

Native to many Mexican dishes, chipotle flavors now enjoy widespread popularity throughout the United States in a variety of dishes. Manhattan Bagel has developed a way to incorporate this wonderful taste into two new lunch items:

Turkey Chipotle Wrap – Tasty turkey all wrapped and ready to go with Southwest corn & black bean salsa, chipotle dressing, jalapeño salsa cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, tomatoes and mixed greens.
Chicken Chipotle Salad – Grilled chicken nestled in fresh salad of mixed greens, Southwest corn and black bean salsa, chipotle dressing, cheddar, Monterey Jack cheese, tomatoes – topped with tortilla chips.

"Chipotle is a key ingredient that brings a relatively mild but earthy spiciness to our two new lunch items," added O'Reilly.

To celebrate the launch of the new lunch items, Manhattan Bagel is giving local consumers several savings opportunities. Through direct mail and in local newspapers, Manhattan Bagel is providing its customers special offers, such as buy one lunch sandwich or salad and get another free with the purchase of two beverages, a free drink and chips with the purchase of a sandwich or salad, and a free cookie with the purchase of a lunch sandwich or salad.

Available for take-out, dine-in and catering, Manhattan Bagel's full-flavored menu offers a variety of tasty breakfast and lunch sandwich creations at any time of the day.
