PostNet Turns National Small Business Week Into Month Long Celebration

Neighborhood Business Centers Across the U.S. Offering Promotion Specials to Help Local Small Businesses Succeed

DENVER, CO - (Marketwire) - May 23-29 is National Small Business Week. But PostNet, an international franchise network of locally owned and operated Neighborhood Business Centers, set aside the entire month of May to celebrate the estimated 27.2 million small businesses throughout the country. PostNet locations across the country are showing their support all month with special offers and an online contest to help local small businesses succeed.

"PostNet franchisees are small-business owners themselves, so they understand the unique challenges their customers face in running a company," said Steve Greenbaum, co-founder and CEO of PostNet. "During May, we are taking some extra time to let our small-business customers know how much we appreciate them by offering some special deals to help make their projects successful."

During May, PostNet is giving away $50 in free printing services to 10 small businesses, as well as one grand prize iPad, in their online "Win an iPad" sweepstakes. Anyone who works for or owns a small business can enter.

But PostNet's support for small businesses goes beyond a month-long celebration. The nearly 400 centers throughout the U.S. "often become an extension of the team for many of their small-business customers," said Greenbaum.

PostNet earned several accolades for its teamwork during the company's recent "My PostNet Loves Me" contest as customers nominated their local store with examples of service that went above and beyond. The following are a few examples of testimonials received from small-business owners:

"PostNet gave me some wonderful tips on how to make my postcards more eye-catching. I was so pleased that someone I hardly knew could be an instrument in helping me with my business so I could spend more time with my clients. They knew I was working hard, and they wanted to make my life easier." -- Linda Holt, Realtor

"My PostNet is more than a partner, friend, employee, or spouse. They are like my right arm. Dependable and helpful every day, I look forward to my time with them." -- Scott McDonald, Demographer

"My book debut and signing was a success because of the timely and professional collateral produced by PostNet. I recommend them to any business needing professional, affordable and timely services." -- Sherryl Lynn Chavarria, Author

"Besides handling various shipping needs for me, PostNet also provided my beautiful business cards and new business magnetic signs for my car. People invariably comment on how nice they are." -- Steve Abarta, Business Owner

"These small business owners are just several of the thousands who turn to PostNet every day to take care of their design, printing, copying and shipping projects," said Greenbaum. "We look forward to helping even more during this National Small Business Month celebration."
