FORT WORTH, Texas /PRNewswire via COMTEX News Network/ -- RadioShack Corporation (NYSE: RSH) today announced that it has selected Mindshare as its media planning and buying agency of record.

The assignment will be handled by Mindshare's Chicago office. Mindshare's scope of work will include advertising media planning and buying across all channels, including digital and new advertising media. RadioShack reported total advertising expenses of $193 million, or 4.5% of total net sales and operating revenue for the year ended Dec. 31, 2009.
