Selected by readers of the media group's 15 publications across the Greater Ottawa area, the award recognizes Mucho Burrito's commitment to providing its customers with an unmatched restaurant experience.

Area businesses competed in over 200 different categories in hopes of taking home the distinguished award. Mucho Burrito's Kanata location rose to the top and received the honor of "Best Mexican Food", boasting nearly 85 percent of readers' votes in the category. For weeks, voting ballots were placed in the Ottawa Region Media Group's various publications. For the category of "Best Mexican Food", readers based their decision on customer service, food flavor, freshness and cleanliness of the location.
