Card Connection Franchise Creates Online Information Brochure for Potential Franchisees

July 01, 2010 // // Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection, has today officially launched an online information brochure for people interested in franchising. The pack, which can be downloaded free through Card Connection's website, contains a wealth of information for potential franchisees to help them learn about what is really involved in managing their own franchise business.

"We have tried to cover everything someone might need to know about franchising," explains Andrew Cutler, sales director at Card Connection. "Frequently asked questions, how franchising works, training, how much it costs, in addition to information about potential earnings are all topics covered in the comprehensive Card Connection information pack.

"Franchising is a big step, so we have been completely transparent to help those considering such a move to make an informed decision," continues Cutler. "We also hope the online information brochure will make the application process for those specifically interested in a Card Connection franchise smoother because applicants will be more knowledgeable about the company and how individual franchises are managed."

Included on the website is an application form for those potentially interested in a Card Connection franchise. Successful applicants are then invited to a no-obligation meeting with the Card Connection team to put what they have learned from the online information pack into the context of every day working life.

Card Connection itself is one of the UK's largest card publishers and is the market leader in the franchised distribution of greeting cards. Using a proven system, franchisees place greeting card ranges in retail outlets on a 'consignment' basis. The award winning merchandising service provided to retailers by local franchisees is second to none and has established the company's excellent reputation especially within the convenience sector.

Card Connection has limited vacancies for franchisees who are keen to run an expanding business. Successful candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, they would be expected to employ a small team, operate a warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.

Because the franchise networks in the UK and Ireland are complete, the available opportunities now consist of acquiring an already-established territory from an existing franchisee. These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £20,000 (+ stock) with earnings potential in excess of £50,000 per annum.
