With a Desire to Change the Small Business Landscape, David Merritt Has Become a Franchisee with ActionCOACH Business Coaching Franchise

David Merritt is the newest Business Coach to join the ActionCOACH team Maryland.

Las Vegas, NV --(PR.com)-- David Merritt recently joined the ranks of a rapidly increasing number of successful professionals in the corporate world who – were over the corporate setting – are investing in their own business. Merritt is the newest Business Coach with ActionCOACH.

Merritt comes to ActionCOACH with a very impressive background. He is a veteran of more than 35 years in the Information Technology industry and Business Management. He has developed long and short term strategic plans for businesses and has helped start several companies. These traits have made Merritt a perfect candidate to join ActionCOACH.

Merritt first heard of ActionCOACH when he posted his resume to various internet job sites. He was contacted by two individuals, one a recruiter and the other an ActionCOACH Master Licensee. The recruiter suggested Merritt take a self assessment test to determine where Merritt's skills would best be utilized. Based on the results of the test, the recruiter strongly recommended Merritt look into business coaching. At that moment he knew that the Master Licensee had contacted him for a reason, that he had the background and skills to be a successful business coach.

"It was fate! I was amazed that two different individuals pointed me in the same direction to business coaching. After extensive research, it became very clear to me that ActionCOACH was the right fit for me; that I had the potential and the desire to be a successful ActionCOACH," says Merritt.

Merritt is eager to start his new adventure. He resides in Urbana, Maryland where he will set up his business. He will practice primarily in Frederick County and Washington County, but will venture out to other counties in Maryland and Washington DC area. Merritt began his journey as a business coach in Las Vegas, Nevada where the ActionCOACH Global Office is located. He will have spent 10 days training with other new business coaches from around the world. Training is intensive, learning the ins and outs of ActionCOACH, how to run a business the ActionCOACH way, branding, systems and techniques, how to apply their knowledge to any business and much more.

"If you would have told me six months ago that I would be a business coach; I would have said tell me what a business coach is. I would have asked to know more. In retrospect, I look back and wish I had this knowledge 30 years ago.
