"We couldn't have asked for anything more in our first annual convention," said Patrick Pitrone, CEO of USA Insulation. "The convention proved to the perfect setting for franchisees to get together and discuss what they are seeing and experiencing in their local markets across the country. It also provided us with the opportunity to recognize hard working franchisees with individual awards."
Those awards included the Monthly Sales Award, which recognized the highest total sales in a single month, and the Outstanding Sales Award, which is highest single invoice in first year. Both awards went to Dov Carl and Mike Preston of Northbrook, IL.
"To win these two awards during our first year is something both Dov and I are extremely proud of," said Mike Preston, co-owner of the Northbrook, IL location. "It's often said that the first year of owning a business is the toughest and our entire company worked hard to be successful and we look forward to an even better second year."
The Sales Achievement Award, which recognizes the highest monthly sales average for the first year went to Eco Home Solutions of Addison, IL, which is owned by Frank Waldron, Sean Jordan, Carey Moore and Stuart O'Brien.
"To win this award is extremely satisfying at a time when the economy has made all of us become more diligent at what we do," said Frank Waldron. "We hope to enjoy many more years of success with USA Insulation and hopefully more awards."
The Sales Excellence Award was given to Tom Pavlowski of Scranton, PA for having the highest sales volume for 2009. Pavlowski added, "We are extremely honored to win the Sales Excellence award," said Pavlowski. "Everyone here in Scranton works hard to provide service which is above and beyond what is expected."

Insulating homes since 1985, USA Insulation, the nation's premier residential retrofit insulation company has saved thousands of customers millions of dollars on their heating and air conditioning bills with its proprietary USA Premium Foam. The environmentally-friendly foam is applied as a liquid and conforms and fills each cavity, crevasse and void to create a thermal envelope. USA premium Foam is a highly-efficient seal against air infiltration, the number one source of energy loss.
USA Insulation, the nation's first and only insulation franchise concept aggressively expanding, began insulating residential homes in 1985 and began franchising in 2007. Today, more than 20 percent of homes that were built before 1980 do not have any insulation and the same goes for more than 40 percent of homes built before 1970. In fact, one study showed that two-thirds of American homes are under insulated. The proprietary foam can cut monthly energy costs up to 40 percent and USA Insulation is proven to be 45 percent more effective than its competitors. The foam, which looks like shaving cream when applied, seeks out every nook and cranny in open air wall space, cures within days and is a Class 1-rated material against fires and does not emit hazardous gasses when exposed to heat of fire.
