It's Party Time with Card Connection Franchise!

July 13, 2010 // Franchising.com // Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection has today launched a new Party gift range. Packs of birthday candles, flashing birthday boy and girl badges, banners, streamers and balloons compliment Card Connection's extensive range of greetings cards to make any occasion special. The new Party packs will be distributed by Card Connection's network of franchisees across the UK and will be available in stores including: Costcutter, Nisa, CJ Lang and Bookers.

"We are always looking for new and exciting new designs to compliment our greeting card ranges," explains Andrew Cutler, sales and franchise director of Card Connection. "The Party range is a selection of high quality products that follow-on from the success of our other Gift Connection and Cardfetti additions.

"We have already seen strong interest from retail customers at the Nisa and Pro-Retail show and as a result, we anticipate excellent sales of this innovative product line," continues Cutler.

"As the Party designs will be delivered at the same time as our greeting cards, both retailers and our franchisees will benefit from this an additional revenue stream."

The Party range is displayed on its own slat wall boards and looks professional and appealing for consumers. Like Card Connection's range of more than 1,200 greetings cards, the new products are available to retailers through Card Connection's franchisees on a consignment basis. This means the stock and display equipment is installed on free loan to the retailer by Card Connection franchisees and retailers only pay for what they sell.

Card Connection has limited vacancies for franchisees who are keen to run an expanding business. Successful candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, they would be expected to employ a small team, operate a warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.

Because the franchise networks in the UK and Ireland are complete, the available opportunities now consist of acquiring an already-established territory from an existing franchisee. These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £20,000 (+ stock) with earnings potential in excess of £50,000 per annum.

Notes to Editor

Card Connection is one of the UK's most successful card publishers and is the market leader in the franchised distribution of greeting cards.

The company was established in 1992 and became a Full Member of the British Franchise Association in 1995. It now distributes greeting cards to around 15,000 outlets through its network of 85 franchisees.
