BookKeeping Express Franchise 'Balances' Winchester's Small Businesses' Need for Certified Services with Grand Opening of First Area Office

Local Entrepreneur Brings Nation's Leading Bookkeeping Franchise to Frederick and Clarke Counties; Expands to Offer Area's 2,000 Businesses Professional Bookkeeping Services

WINCHESTER, VA /24-7PressRelease/ -- BookKeeping Express, the first U.S. franchise focused solely on bookkeeping services, announced today the opening of its first office in Frederick County, which will also serve Clarke County businesses. The new office is located in Winchester, and will primarily service the northwestern corner of Virginia.

"I am thrilled about providing professional bookkeeping services to small business owners and management throughout the region. A void exists locally for skilled accounting services that focus on the small business community," said Pam Early, owner of Winchester's BookKeeping Express office, as well as the office in Leesburg, Va. "As an entrepreneur, I am excited about growing my BookKeeping Express business and utilizing the company's experience in the industry and its proven business model to help small business owners focus on growing their businesses."

With nearly 2,000 small businesses in Frederick and Clarke Counties, BookKeeping Express offers a much-needed service to companies that are not equipped or do not wish to handle accounting responsibilities such as setting up charts of accounts and general ledgers, monthly data entry, processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, producing monthly reports and tax reporting. Moreover, BookKeeping Express utilizes a Custom Flex Pricing Model that is based on the clients' needs instead of a one size fits all, hourly billing approach. Terri Sheaffer, BKE's local director of operations, will be leading the company's small business focused service offerings from its Winchester office.

The expansion into Winchester is part of the company's aggressive national development plan which calls for more than 400 new territories throughout the United States. The McLean, Va.-based business now has eight offices in northern Virginia and 23 spread across the United States.

"The small business community is growing in Frederick and Clarke Counties and all around the country. BookKeeping Express is expanding with it, providing qualified investors with a niche franchise option that caters to this growing segment," said Greg Jones, CEO of BookKeeping Express. "We are looking to grow with franchisees such as Brent who are experienced professionals and sincere about their desire to fill a void in their communities with our distinctive accounting services."

As part of the BookKeeping Express franchise model, all offices will offer the BKE Connect system, which allows businesses access to all bookkeeping files remotely through an outside server, as well as a dashboard that clearly and visually 'sums' up the business' operations for thorough analysis. Plus, small to mid-sized business owners can synchronize their QuickBooks and enjoy convenient, anytime access to their financial documents through BKE EDocs, a new electronic filing system designed to provide secure, online storage of financial documents.

Two options available to BookKeeping Express investors include Master or Area Development territories that can be operated out of home-based or commercial space locations; per territory start-up fees run under $50,000.
