August 18, 2010 // Franchising.com // ActionCOACH hosted its 2010 Global Conference at the Hotel Arts Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain, where ActionCOACH recognized Hank de Smit for the Best Client Retention award.
In presenting the award, ActionCOACH founder and Chairman Brad Sugars pointed out the importance of retaining existing clients.
"On an average, it costs six times more to get a new client – which makes the ability to retain clients paramount in any business," Sugars said.
Mr. de Smit, who is based in Western Australia, is passionate about helping customers reach their goals and to spend less time working in their business and more time working on their business.
"Hank is great at what he does, and it shows in how he continues to work with and develop his clients relationships," Sugars said.
This year's conference marked ActionCOACH's 17th anniversary for the world's number one business coaching firm. When Sugars started ActionCOACH in 1993, the business coaching industry was still in its infancy. Today, it is a billion dollar industry and the world's second fastest growing industry – behind Information Technology.
ActionCOACH is the world's number one business coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 32 countries.
