Oxi Fresh Franchise Receives EPA's Design for the Environment Certification

Entrepreneur Magazine's Top Carpet Cleaning Franchise Meets Stringent Review to Gain Design for the Environment Label Approval

LAKEWOOD, CO - (Marketwire) - Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning, the World's Greenest Carpet Cleaner® and fastest-growing carpet cleaning franchise, is pleased to announce that one of its core cleaning products has received the Environment Protection Agency's Design for the Environment Certification.

The Design for the Environment Label (DfE) is only granted to products that have been proven safe for both families and the environment. In order to determine the safety of such products, the DfE scientific review team screens each and every ingredient for potential dangers.

"Our product, which is part of a system that harnesses the power of oxygen, has successfully made it through the EPA's rigorous testing process and can now proudly bear the label marking it as Design for the Environment certified," said Jonathan Barnett, President of Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning®.

Rather than using chemicals and steam, Oxi Fresh uses a proprietary eco-friendly carpet cleaning system that harnesses the power of oxygen. The Oxi Fresh system actually lifts dirt and oil from the bottom of a carpet pile rather than pushing it deeper into the carpet and uses far less water than other carpet cleaning services. While other carpet cleaners use upwards of 50 gallons of water per cleaning job, Oxi Fresh uses only two gallons.

In less than four years, Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning® has become the World's Greenest Carpet Cleaner®, with more than 200 locations across the United States. Oxi Fresh has experienced such success because it offers customers a shorter dry time (one-hour instead of 24 hours) through harnessing the power of oxygen rather than chemicals and steam.
