Columbus Commercial Lighting Designer, Brad Hobbs, Leads OCALSA Outdoor Lighting Continuing Education Session

September 08, 2010 // Franchising.com // NiteLites of Columbus General Manager, Brad Hobbs has been chosen to lead the OCASLA CEU Outdoor Lighting Education with Interactive Lighting Design Session event. This evening of learning will take place Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at the Franklin Park Conservatory; cocktails will be served after the event until 10pm.

This event will have 3 parts.

  1. CEU educational session about outdoor lighting design and light fixture applications, given by Mr. Brad Hobbs of NiteLites of Columbus.
  2. A conversation between landscape architects, including OCASLA member Brian Griffith from Griffith Imagery (www.griffithimagery.com) and lighting professionals to discuss how we can work together more productively and share experiences of known misconceptions and successes.
  3. An interactive lighting design session where landscape architects can get their hands on different lighting fixtures and experiment with design decisions in the field.



As members of the OCASLA, the NiteLites of Columbus staff has donated both time and sponsorship to numerous events. Landscape Lighting Franchise owner Trevor Rosendahl, along with NiteLites team member Paul Davison and Mike Wehinger and Fred Drewry with EMI, recently came in 1st place in their category at the 6th Annual OCASLA scholarship golf outing on Friday, July 16th 2010. This locally owned business looks forward to future projects and outings with the OCASLA and the charitable and networking opportunities they provide.
