NaturaLawn of America's 23% Sales Growth Lands Them a Spot on the Inc. 5000 List

NEW YORK, Sept. 9 // PRNewswire // -- Inc. magazine ranked NaturaLawn of America #4313 on its fourth annual Inc. 5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy - America's independent-minded entrepreneurs.

"We're honored to be included alongside all of these innovative and fast growing companies," said NaturaLawn® of America President Phil Catron. "To be one of only a handful of green industry professionals listed speaks volumes of our ability to stand apart from our competition."

"The leaders of the companies on this year's Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression," said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. "The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs."

Over the past three years, NaturaLawn of America has grown 23%, a statistic Catron attributes primarily to the successes of the company's 66 franchise locations. "We have a strong system in place, a dedicated support team and strive to deliver a level of customer service that's above and beyond what people expect," said Catron.

The 2010 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2006 to 2009. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 30, 2006. Additionally, they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2009. Headquartered in Frederick, Maryland, NaturaLawn of America is a national, organic-based lawn care franchise currently with 66 locations servicing environmentally concerned customers in 23 states.
