#1 Salad Franchise's Promo Starts with "Edamame Monday"
CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Saladworks, the nation's first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, announces today the launch of the franchise's first-ever "Free Ingredient Week." Beginning on Monday, September 20th and running until Friday, September 24th, Free Ingredient Week lets Saladworks customers add a particular day's ingredient onto their signature or create-your-own salads free of charge.
Edamame Monday, Tofu Tuesday, Walnut Wednesday, Green Bean Thursday, and White Bean Friday are the ingredients that customers can add to their salads on their given days. These ingredients and more were added to the salad franchise's menu earlier this year because of their fresh taste and nutritional appeal. All Saladworks locations offer over 50 ingredients in the salad case.
Additionally, the franchise will offer free Saladworks shirts to its Facebook fans and Twitter followers who take a picture of their salad with one of the free ingredients.
"Saladworks fans enjoy our signature salads, and love the option to create their own salad. Free Ingredient Week gives our fans the opportunity to try out new recipes with a new topping they may have never tried on their salads before," said Saladworks Founder/CEO, John Scardapane. "We think our fans will get even more creative with their own salads after this week."
Saladworks, the nation's first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, operates over 100 franchise locations in 11 states. In addition to its existing stores, the chain currently has over 60 units in development across the country. Saladworks locations offer a "fanatic'ly fresh" menu of flavorful salads with signature dressings, proprietary soups, wraps, and Fusion sandwiches. With the addition of the True Nutrition menu, Saladworks' varieties of signature salads are all 300 calories or less. Saladworks was voted the nation's number one salad franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine for 2009 and 2010.
