Doubletree Hotel Franchise Columbia Now Open in Upscale Suburban Maryland

Hotel Offers Easy Access to Baltimore/DC-area Historic and Cultural Sites

COLUMBIA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Doubletree Hotels has announced the opening of the Doubletree Hotel Columbia in Columbia, Maryland. Centrally located between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, the upscale, full-service hotel is a mile from the Merriweather Post Pavilion, 20 minutes from Baltimore's Inner Harbor and athletic venues, approximately 30 miles from the nation's capital and 15 minutes from Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport (BWI).

The Doubletree Hotel Columbia was converted from the former Hilton Columbia and is currently undergoing a major, multi-phase renovation that will reinvigorate guest rooms, meeting areas and public space.
